On the day

You’re playing three rounds in one day which is no mean feat!
Be sure to make a plan before the day so you are not caught off guard.

Things to consider….

Start time

It’s a long day so you will need to tee off as early as possible – between 6am and 7am would be ideal (you might need to organise this with the course so you can gain access early). This will ensure you finish your challenge before it gets dark. Each round should take no more than 3.5/4 hours all going to plan. The 54 holes should take no longer than 12 hours to complete.

Remember to incorporate regular breaks in shaded areas to stay hydrated and energised.

Quick tip: Get an early night. You’ll need it!

What to bring

Wear anything you feel comfortable in that fits the club’s rules. There’s going to be a lot of walking so bring your comfiest golf shoes – new ones are not recommended!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Your clubs – obviously!

A towel

Change of shirt or two.

Spare socks.

Water bottle.

Healthy snacks to get you through the day

Vaseline – to help prevent chafing.

Sweatbands.

Sunglasses.

Blister kit – just in case.

And don’t forget some spare balls, tees, pens and pencils.

Scoring card

To make the day run as smoothly as possible, we recommend you ask the pro-shop to notify all other players on the course that you have right of way.
